Experience the unique landscape, cuisine, and culture of Morocco. From the lively markets of Marrakesh to the sand dunes in the Saharan desert, you’ll explore this diverse country with a local guide over nine fun-filled days. After meeting in Fes, you’ll stroll through a 9th-century Medina, meet local artisans, and dine at La Maison Bleue, one of the finest restaurants in Morocco. Cross the Atlas Mountains before taking a Land Rover into the desert to camel ride along the 1,000-foot-high sand dunes of Merzouga. You’ll meet Berber tribesmen and get the opportunity to spend a night in a beautiful tented encampment with all of the amenities. You’ll be welcomed into a Berber family’s home to learn about (and indulge in) delicious regional dishes. For your final three nights, you’ll stay in a centrally located luxury hotel so you can take in all that Marrakesh has to offer. Throughout the week you’ll enjoy warm hospitality from a culture rich with Berber, Arab, Jewish, African, and Mediterranean influences.
